Establishment of local heritage Museum in Northern Greece

Museum of Agricultural and Cultural Heritage

Μουσείο Ευρωπού

White Fox established the Museum of Agricultural and Cultural Heritage at the Municipality of Evropos in Northern Greece.

Housed in the old local primary school, the Museum brings together precious artefacts of the areas long-standing traditions which were a product of frequent cultural exchanges.

The area is a crossroad for peoples and cultures and often through the centuries has been called to provide a new home for a variety of peoples from the Balkans and the Easter Mediterranean. As a result, descendants or refugees from Minor Asia, Eastern Thrace and Pontus, along with those of local Macedonians and Vlachs have dug deep into the family chests and provided the museum with its invaluable objects, souvenirs from never forgotten homelands, customs and traditions whose origins are lost in past centuries.
